This Southborough, MA home suffered from a large amount of exterior rot and a rather drab existence. The homeowner was not overly fond of the shutters either. Each piece of trim, clap board, soffit and fascia was closely inspected and those with challenged integrity were replaced. In the areas that are subject to high moisture and little sun, a composite wood product was used to deter future complications. A custom color was selected by the homeowner and a full oil tinted primer coat was applied followed by a full latex finish coat. (This process first seals the home and then allows the final coat to shrink or expand in response to weather conditions.)
